Yes, I know I'm writing about a SHAMPOO, but I just had to share. If you're like me, then you chose your hair products based on their scent, with performance running a close second. There are many products I just won't use because I can't tolerate the fragrance they leave behind in my hair. Some even give me a headache!

I recently had the opportunity to try some of this new line, and I can't get enough of it! Get Glow is a line of shampoos, conditioners, styling products and candles. They incorporate many plant ingredients, including aloe vera, chamomile, cucumber, green tea, & sea kelp, in addition to vitamins, wheat proteins and witch hazel. Not only do these products smell great, but they work hard to make your hair look fantastic. Compliment-evoking fantastic.

My favorites are the "Moisturizing Shampoo" which has a zingy peppermint fragrance. Mint is a favorite summer scent for me, and it's usually reserved for "oily hair shampoos." I was especially thrilled to find a mint for my hair type. I'm also in love with their "Ready , Set HOLD!" hairspray, which has a soft rose scent. (I can't tell you how many cans of hairspray I've given up on because the smell is overpowering and clashes with my perfume!) The herbally orange blossom "Intense Hair Repair Nourishing Treatment" is a delicious treat for your hair. All are premium products, and would work well even if they didn't smell so great!

I received a full size sample of Get Glow hairspray at the June Sniffa NYC workshop. Just tried it today and Wow! It held my thick hair beautifully all day - the soft rose scent faded in a reasonable time so it didn't interfere with my perfume. And the shine - beautiful - lasted all day. Not sticky at all - the best hairspray, styling hold product I've ever tried. I think I'm hooked.
